On one of my frequent web searches, I stumbled across a web site from the U.K. that focuses on Web 2.0 technologies and the classroom. The organization is called the Centre for Learning and Performance Technologies. They have a number of resources for better understanding Web 2.0 technologies and their use in the classroom.
Of particular interest to me was their list of the Top 100 Tools for Learning. This list is updated regularly and is compiled by a group of learning professionals. I encourage you to take a look at what this site has to offer.
Along the same lines, you may also want to take a look at a presentation I found on Slideshare.net, entitled Web Technology Trends for 2008 and Beyond. The presentation was done by Richard MacManus, Editor of ReadWriteWeb. The presentation reviews Web 2.0 and provides what the author believes will be the essence of Web 3.0. Interesting stuff.
